10 Best WWE Women's Wrestlers Of 2017

7. Natalya

For a while, it looked as though Natalya was - barring her starring role in Total Divas - pretty much surplus to requirements in the eyes of the WWE creative team.

To underline that point, her SmackDown Women's Championship win at SummerSlam was the first time she has held title gold in almost seven years, her only other triumph being the butterfly-bearing Divas Championship way back in November of 2010.

With hindsight, it now appears the company only threw her this bone so that they could in turn put the belt around the waist of Charlotte, who - as a fellow face - would have been unable to take it directly from Naomi.

Whatever the circumstances, though, you can't say Natalya didn't make the best of the opportunity. The matches she shared with Charlotte - including a brilliant clash at Hell in a Cell - are among the best SmackDown's female division produced all year.
