Naomi's 2017 is probably lacking a genuinely great match, but you can't ignore the fact that she finishes the year with two SmackDown Women's Championship triumphs, one of which came in her hometown at WrestleMania 33.

It's not like performances inside the ring have been lacking either. Don't forget: she hasn't really been paired up for an extended run with any of the Four Hoursewomen, who generally dominate the list of the company's best main roster bouts.

Despite that, she has put on decent matches with the likes of Alexa Bliss and, in particular, Natalya, with whom she shared one of SummerSlam's better under-card offerings.

At the beginning of the year, few expected Naomi to pull up any trees - so the fruitful 12 months she has enjoyed since must be considered a strong showing, and an excellent launchpad for success in 2018 to boot.
