10 Best WWE WrestleMania Endings Ever

8. WrestleMania XXVI

One year on from their all-time classic at WrestleMania XXV, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker met once again, this time in the main event of The Show of Shows.

However, the stakes were much higher this time around - 'Taker's Streak vs. HBK's career.

Whilst the actual in-ring wrestling wasn't as good as the year before, the story and the drama was on another level. Fans genuinely didn't know which way this match was going to go and the two icons both did their bit to keep them guessing.

After a hard-fought battle, Michaels - defiant to the end - slapped Taker round the face, before taking one last Tombstone Piledriver to put him down for three.

It was the perfect end to a legendary career. Shawn Michaels had given the WWE Universe one final legendary match and got to say goodbye to his fans on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Matches like this are the perfect example of why the world title doesn't always have to go on last. This match had bigger stakes than any championship and the final shots of HBK waving goodbye to wrestling was the perfect way to close this show

Shame about that Saudi money, eh?
