10 Best WWE Wrestlers Of 2017 (So Far)
5. Neville
Last year, Neville would have struggled to get into the top 20 WWE wrestlers. Through no fault of his own, he was booked as a bland babyface who was only there to make up the numbers. Need a quick win for a struggling heel? Book him against Neville and a solid match is all but guaranteed. That was a death spot.
Since being rethought as a vicious heel who self-proclaims himself as the 'King Of The Cruiserweights', Neville has prospered. The man actually has a character to fall back on now, and he has worked hard to mix up his in-ring style. No more flashy, crowd-pleasing moves like the Red Arrow for the new (and improved) Neville.
A series with Austin Aries displayed the potential Neville has to be the Cruiserweight linchpin his fans always knew he could be. Matches with Rich Swann and Jack Gallagher have also allowed him to bask in the spotlight. Neville has changed his luck for the better in 2017.
