10 Best WWE Wrestlers Of 2017

8. The Usos

To tag wrestling on the main roster what American Alpha and The Revival were to it in NXT, The Usos’ post-heel turn period has been one the best of their career. Jimmy and Jey’s stewardship over SmackDown Live! was further enhanced by the arrival of The New Day in April’s ‘Superstar Shake-up’.

Trading titles with every combination of the talented trio on multiple pay-per-views, the five drew rave reviews for series that arguably peaked with nobody watching. Relegation to the SummerSlam Kickoff show was criminal - so the quintet responded by stealing the show. One of the best WWE matches of the year, the utterly mesmerising finishing sequence that saw them commence a record-setting second reign with the blue brand belts over Big E and Xavier Woods was only topped by an even better one three months later earning victory against The Bar at the Survivor Series.

It was in this contest where both duos showed their pedigree. Outperforming a New Day/Shield match that opened the show, the clash of the champions was more heated, physical and enjoyable than the triumvirates tussle. It was another stellar night in a seemingly endless parade of them in 2017.
