6. Charlotte

Winning her first SmackDown Live! Women's Championship in November after going the better part of a year without any title at all, Charlotte has navigated her way through a 'Superstar Shake-up' babyface turn to maintain her place as the main roster's current best all-round performer.

2018 proffers big things for Asuka, the new Paige and Ruby Riott-led trios on both brands and much more if separate rumours of Women's Tag Titles and a Royal Rumble are to be believed, but little suggests anybody will topple Flair on consistency alone.

One of the 'experienced' hands on a burgeoning blue brand women's division despite still only clocking up five years experience between the ropes thus far, only a Raw clunker with Nia Jax sullied an otherwise exemplary year.

Her 2017 turn steered into growing respect the audience had for her immense skill, if not any one particularly likable trait - which offers her a return to the dark side should she eventually run out of opponents on the blue brand. She's as yet not reassumed conflicts with Four Horsewoman comrade Becky Lynch, but could pause that if a potential clash alongside Sasha Banks and Bayley against the Shayna Baszler/Ronda Rousey/Marina Shafir/Jessamyn Duke variation at WrestleMania.
