Turn on WWE programming at different times of the year, and it’s impossible to miss various cross-promotion efforts unfolding before your eyes: stars of a USA Network program in the front row of Raw, pumping their fist and gesturing to the fans; wrestlers guest-starring on a popular USA program; or announcers hyping a show debuting later that evening or during the week.

While product placement like energy drinks and food likely will continue on Raw, TV show crossover efforts will undoubtedly change. For example, Netflix’s streaming service does offer original programming, but it’s not the same as cable shows, which air at specific times. Netflix typically releases new episodes globally at midnight Pacific Time (PT) on the announced release date.

Perhaps we’ll see Raw do a crossover with “Stranger Things” or invite Lily Collins from “Emily in Paris” to sit in the front row one Monday night in 2025. But it won’t be the same.
