10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Survivor Series 2020
4. The Undertaker Could Retire Without An Audience
One element of Survivor Series that does carry value is the fact that it will host a 30th Anniversary celebration of The Undertaker's debut - a celebration that is also being billed as his "Final Farewell".
It's understandable that 'The Phenom' has seemingly selected this occasion to bow out. Survivor Series is where The Undertaker was born and not only does this year's event coincide with his huge anniversary (right down to the date, in fact), it comes after his epic Boneyard Match with AJ Styles at WrestleMania earlier this year. If you're ever going to go, best to go out on an unforgettable showing like that one.
And yet, it still feels wrong for a character as beloved as 'The Demon of Death Valley' to bid farewell to the WWE Universe (if that is indeed what he does on Sunday night) without any of the WWE Universe there to watch him in person.
The Undertaker has given so much to the fans over the past three decades, so if anybody deserves to go out on a standing ovation from an in-person crowd, it's him.
