10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE Survivor Series 2020
3. The Undertaker's Farewell Could Be Interrupted
Whether or not The Undertaker does officially retire remains to be seen, but one worrying theory in regards to what might happen on the night suggests that his intention to make that announcement could be interrupted by 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt.
A recent Twitter exchange between 'The Fiend' and WWE reminded fans that, though Undertaker has faced Wyatt before, he hasn't faced all of him so to speak (alluding to the fact that he's never fought his 'Fiend' persona).
In a way, Wyatt has become 'Taker's spiritual successor, calling on the powers of darkness and his knack for mind games in the same way 'The Phenom' did for 30 years, so the idea of seeing an Undertaker vs. Fiend feud is quite appealing - especially since 'The Deadman' wasn't present for the build for his previous feud with pre-Fiend Wyatt in 2015.
There have been rumors of this match happening at some point, and with further rumors suggesting that 'Taker could appear at WrestleMania next year, it might be a possibility (providing he doesn't retire, of course). However, that doesn't mean it should happen... especially not here.
Survivor Series is about honouring The Undertaker's 30 years in WWE, so like his 25th anniversary did five years ago, it should end with him standing tall so that we can appreciate his incredible career - not with him on the receiving end of a beatdown.
