10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE WrestleMania 37
7. Shane McMahon Could Defeat Braun Strowman
To call Shane McMahon a non-wrestler now would be a disservice to all of the hard work he has put in over the years to entertain fans, but that still doesn't mean he should be considered a believable threat to Braun Strowman. And yet WWE are intent on making us believe that he is.
The veteran has taken on some big men throughout his career (he was once referred to as 'Shane the Giant Killer', remember?) but he usually did so through luck and cunningness. That's what made the original Shane work so well and that's why a Steel Cage match with the monster he's been taunting is indeed an acceptable way of ending his feud with Strowman. However, Shane isn't portrayed in the way that he used to be. We're actually supposed to take him seriously now.
Shane has made Strowman look stupid over the past couple of weeks, outsmarting him and even successfully holding his own against him in the ring. And sure, that would be fine if he was facing The Miz again. But he's not.
On that note, could we see him topple Braun Strowman at WrestleMania? Remember this is the same company that once tried to make us believe that Shane O Mac could defeat The Undertaker inside Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania and then proceeded to give us a 30-minute match where he not only held his own but actually came close to making it happen.
If they can do that with The Undertaker, Braun Strowman may not stand a chance. Seriously.
