10 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE WrestleMania 37

5. A Lack Of Exciting Match Stipulations

WrestleMania is the Showcase of the Immortals but you sure wouldn't think it when you looked at the match card. No, yours truly is not referring to the lack of interesting matches on there (don't worry, we'll get to that), the problem here is that most of them, well, look the same.

We have a two-night event upon us, each one featuring seven contests. Unfortunately, eleven out of those planned fourteen matches are either singles or tag team matches, with seven of the former and four of the latter. Granted, we do have a Steel Cage match, a Nigerian Drum Fight and a Triple Threat match to change things up, but that still doesn't leave an awful lot of variety on the card.

Over the years we've had Iron Man matches, Ladder matches, Casket matches, Hell In A Cell matches, No Holds Barred Matches and even a Boneyard Match. Major match stipulations can pair well with major matches, enhancing the overall card as a result. With that in mind, surely Orton vs. The Fiend could do with an exciting stipulation considering a feud as volatile as that one probably shouldn't conclude in a respectable singles match.

Unfortunately, it seems WrestleMania 37 will be robbed of the chance to showcase a variety of matches, and its reliance on more of the same could very well result in two rather short nights of action felling a lot longer than they actually are.
