8. A Prospective NXT Showcase

In 2015, NXT was a shining beacon of everything that's right in World Wrestling Entertainment. Looking solely at the reaction to the TakeOver event in London, Triple H is building something special with the developmental brand. The recent addition of Austin Aries to the roster will only help with credibility too, hopes are high 2016 could be even bigger for NXT. Many fans have discussed the possibility of WWE rewarding the NXT lot for their hard work over the past few years. One way to do that would be to open up the chance for them to compete at WrestleMania. Of course, the brand will present NXT TakeOver: Dallas on April 1, 2016, but that could culminate with the announcement that some NXT stars are headed to 'Mania. It's quite the carrot of motivation to dangle in front of the development roster, the chance to dream about performing on wrestling's biggest stage. An NXT Heavyweight Title match would be welcome on the card, fans would certainly like to see it featured much more than a throwaway Battle Royal or guff celebrity segment.
