1. Be On Pace To Break London & Kendrick, Then Demolition's Record
If we are going to continue to book The Ascension to have one of the most dominant years in tag team history, that means they have taken care of all challengers that have been put in their way. Winning the tag team titles at Wrestlemania and carrying them all the way through the end of 2015 would put their title reign at around 270 stays, give or take. There are two sets of title reigns that are recognized by the WWE. The current WWE Tag Team Champions belts as we know it, and the World Tag Team Titles that were the original set of belts issued by the WWE. The record for the current tag team champions would be the first goal for The Ascension to beat, and that would be 331 days; which was the reign of Brian Kendrick & Paul London. Then the original World Tag Team Champions' streak would be up next, and that was held by Demolition at 478 days. As previously mentioned, The Ascension are more than ready for the main roster of the WWE. They were one day shy of holding the NXT Tag Team championship for a year. 2015 should be the year that the tag team division had a resurgence, and having a dominant heel tag team carry the WWE Tag Team Championship for the majority of 2015 would be best for business. With the pedigree of this team, holding the overall reign as a WWE tag champion would fit The Ascension. As always, thank you for reading my articles!
