10 Big Men Set To Make WWE The Land Of The Giants Again In 2014

1. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns1 It's going to happen. It was obvious before the Royal Rumble and now it's pretty much etched in stone. Roman Reigns, if used well, will be the leader of the charge of the big men this year. He is rapidly improving in the ring (but still needs some sharpening), is beginning to become more vocal before his eventual turn on Ambrose and Rollins, and now holds the record for the most eliminations in the Royal Rumble. Baring in mind who eliminated him last week, I would compare Reigns' current career trajectory to that of Batista. They have that similar ferocity and intensity but also, leaving a successful stable will be the making of him. It's clear the WWE look on him as one of their own. After being signed up to developmental in 2010, his rapid rise has been astonishing. With relations including The Rock, Rikishi and The Uso's though, it's hardly surprising the company feels they can trust him. Reigns will be a singles title winner at some point this year, probably taking the neutralised US Title from Ambrose before long. This will only be the start, however. Reign's is going to rise faster that his stable-buddies simply because he has that look. It's strange to think he's not the tallest member of The Shield but he is over 50lbs heavier than his 'friends' and has a spear set to be as influential as those used by Goldberg and Edge. Whatever there is to win in the WWE, Reigns will win it, be sure of that. There we have it. The ten big men set to take the WWE forward into a new period. Some won't make it but a few names on the list have the potential to have great careers right up there with the very best. Yes, there are others, but these big men can truly make a different in 2014. In the future, obviously Batista and Lesnar will leave again but for this year at least, they will be big movers in the company. The future, however, is in the hands of the younger beasts ready to take over.
