10 Big Problems WWE Creative Must Overcome In 2016

1. Vince McMahon

The biggest problem that creative must overcome is Vince McMahon. The WWE Chairman is set in his ways, and there's no telling him he's wrong. After all, he owns the company, it isn't in anyone's best interests to tell him he's out of touch and counter-productive in the way he operates. It has been this way for years now. Even as far back as Vince Russo in the nineties, McMahon was working his creative team into the ground. Russo revealed that there were no sick days, and he eventually left for WCW when the extra workload of Smackdown was introduced. Other writers have talked about Vince's call for constant rewrites, with industry insider Dave Meltzer revealing that shows can change two or three times on the day. It can't be a good way of working, and it shows in the sometimes nonsensical shows. The buck stops at the top, Vince McMahon has been the force for fantastic creative in the past, but his modern interpretations of pro wrestling are faltering.
