10 Big Problems WWE Creative Must Overcome In 2016
9. The Undertaker
The Undertaker will be one of the trickiest pieces of booking for WWE in early 2016. The issue is predictability and expectation. Fans feel he should be booked in a certain way, and when he isn't (see SummerSlam 2015 and the heel spots) then there's inevitable disappointment. But the problem is, if WWE go the other route, booking Taker as fans expect, then the problem of predictability creeps in. That's what happened with the Bray Wyatt WrestleMania feud, everyone knew Taker was going to go over, and it made the bout a little lifeless. Increased expectations around WrestleMania 32 and Taker's potential last match are also problematic. The more fans anticipate something major, the more the booking will struggle to live up to the collective fanbase imagination. In resolving this, the best solution is to give Undertaker an opponent that is equal to his own reputation. That's where they went wrong with Wyatt. For WrestleMania 32, only John Cena will do.
