10 Big Questions About Jinder Mahal As WWE Champion

4. Will The Singh Brothers Be Ruined?

Suggesting that they may be 'ruined' almost implies that the former Bollywood Boyz were in a plum spot to begin with, but it may be fairer to say that Gurv and Harv Singh could be dead weight as performers once the Jinder Mahal train eventually runs out of steam.

In the endlessly relevant comparisons to the John Bradshaw Layfield 2004 WWE Title run, The Singh Brothers' current spot mirrors the role of The Bashams and Orlando Jordan. Making up JBL's 'Cabinet', the hired goons took countless beatings from their boss' various opponents in an effort to help him cling on to his championship at all costs no matter how overmatched he usually was.

Similar to Doug, Danny and Orlando, little was happening for Gurv and Harv before they were given the call to join Mahal on his remarkable journey to the top of the card. Set to bore on NXT following middling Cruiserweight Classic performances, the future didn't look all that bright.

However, they must now pay the physical toll of literally being in the way of virtually every attack coming Jinder's way. The Backlash thrashing they took from Randy Orton won't compare to the further beatings they're likely to endure, which could irreversibly deter their upward trajectory when Mahal is eventually relieved of the title.
