WWE haven’t officially made any matches for WrestleMania 33 yet, but we know that Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal, Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins vs. Triple H are pretty much done deals. Each contest has been reported for several months now, and it’d be a huge surprise if even one of them fell off the card between now and April 2nd.

Rollins vs. Triple H kicked-off in August, when Triple H attacked Seth Rollins to screw him out of the WWE Universal Championship. The Game hasn’t appeared since then, but the move facilitated Rollins’ wonky babyface turn, and Seth is never shy on calling Hunter out on Raw. The feud continues, even if it remains to be seen when Triple H will finally return to television.

The threat of Triple H’s imminent returned has hover over the Universal Title scene since the big moment, and a Royal Rumble screwjob feels like the next logical step. We already know that Seth’s going to be competing in the match, and with a WrestleMania headlining spot on the line, the Rumble would be the perfect time for Hunter to continue the bad blood by enabling Seth’s Rumble elimination.

There’s no real need for Triple H to actually be in this year’s match. All we need is an interference or a distraction, and the angle will be set into motion. The feud has been stagnant since August, and it’s time to shift it back into gear.
