10 Big Questions Coming From WWE Royal Rumble 2015

10. What Was The Brock Lesnar / Sting Tease All About?

In a backstage segment, Paul Heyman approached Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The dastardly manager said that Brock Lesnar was the answer to The Authority's problem with Sting. That was it and the scene cut away. So what exactly was that all about? It seemed set in stone that Triple H would be clashing with Sting, and it also looked likely that Lesnar would either be doing something with Seth Rollins or the Royal Rumble winner at WrestleMania. The Heyman segment took place before Lesnar's title defence and the Rumble match, and we now know that it will indeed be Brock vs Reigns at Mania. Which begs the question what the Heyman suggestion about Sting vs Brock was meant to mean? It doesn't look like the match will be happening, so why bother teasing it? Indeed, that would be one horrible match. Lesnar would struggle to work such brutal attack on a 55 year old Sting. It looks like the segment was designed to do nothing more than throw viewers off the creative scent. It added a bit of intrigue and raised questions over Lesnar's likelihood to win the title match later in the evening, as fans started to think he could be getting spun off in the direction of the Stinger. Or, perhaps we will see Lesnar go after Sting between now and Mania, with Roman Reigns making the save in a babyface move that advances the Lesnar / Reigns narrative. Lesnar and Wyatt vs Reigns and Sting at Fast Lane? It's at least a possibility, but Heyman's segment could just as easily have meant nothing.
