10 Big Questions WWE Faces After WrestleMania 33

2. What's Next For Goldberg?

After standing tall over Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series and Royal Rumble, there are cracks beginning to show in Goldberg's domination; blasted with an F5 on the March 6, 2017 edition of Raw, the new WWE Universal Champion will defend that title against Lesnar at WrestleMania 33, and it's logical that he'll lose in Orlando.

Another victory over Brock would come as a complete surprise, because recent booking suggests Roman Reigns vs. Lesnar is a rematch WWE are keen on. This leaves Goldberg out in the cold somewhat, and there's no indication as to what the next few months after 'Mania have in store for him.

The most likely outcome following WrestleMania is that Goldberg takes a sabbatical.

The ex-WCW star's return has been such a smash hit for WWE that those in charge won't want Goldberg to leave permanently though; there's money to be made in matches against Reigns, Triple H and even The Undertaker should Bill remain on WWE's books.

Right now, it seems impossible to envision Goldberg playing a role in any of Raw's next few pay-per-views after 'Mania unless he retains the Universal Title against Lesnar.
