10 Big Talking Points From WWE Raw (July 4)

5. Have You Seen Baron Corbin?

At Money in the Bank, Baron Corbin defeated Dolph Ziggler. While the match was nothing special, it symbolized something important - the feud between the two men was finally over. It began the evening after WrestleMania, when Corbin planted Dolph with the End of Days outside the ring, and it ran for three long months.

Not only was the feud boring, but it didn't do anything for Corbin - he won the battle royal at WrestleMania 32, but it almost seemed like the company decided to pull back on his push after that. Nobody was complaining, but it was still odd.

Now, it looks like they might be feeling reticent about Corbin once again. He squashed Zack Ryder the evening after Money in the Bank, but last week on Raw, he was nowhere to be seen. This week, "The Lone Wolf" was once again absent, save for a clip package building him up.

Video or no, the lack of direction for Corbin might indicate that he's no longer a priority - if he was, they'd be readying another program for him. Given how many more-talented stars could use a push, maybe it's for the best.
