10 Big Talking Points From WWE Raw (June 27)

2. Same Old Wyatts

Last week on Raw, The Wyatt Family made their long-awaited return and started a feud with The New Day. This week, The New Day came out dressed as The Wyatts, mocking the stable. Their material was great, as usual.

They were interrupted by Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman, and from there, things took a dive. Bray Wyatt's promo was fine, but it's the same promo he's been cutting for the past three years. The charges he levied at The New Day were the same ones he threw at John Cena, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns. While the whole "Xavier Woods was hypnotized" angle is different, it's still not new - they did the same thing with Daniel Bryan.

After WrestleMania 32 - where The Wyatt Family was confronted and beaten up by The Rock and John Cena - the group looked to be on its way to a babyface turn. The seeds were planted for a feud with The League of Nations, but the entire stable was soon taken off TV when Bray was injured. The League of Nations disbanded and the feud was dropped.

It's a shame WWE decided not to run with the face turn - if not for the whole group, then at least for Bray. Now, things are back where they've always been, and The Wyatts are the worse for wear.
