5. Reigns Eliminates The Undertaker

Not only did Reigns take the number 30 spot, he then went on to eliminate one of the most popular stars in the entire match; the lesser-spotted, returning Undertaker.

After ‘Taker had gotten rid of Goldberg, suddenly he looked like the new favourite, until out of nowhere Reigns would toss the Deadman to the outside to have the Alamodome seething once more.

Again, I didn’t necessarily have a problem with Reigns being the one to take out the Undertaker; it’s a massive scalp and therefore one that should be reserved for a full-time guy, rather than a Goldberg or a Brock Lesnar.

Regardless of how you feel about him though, in terms of what this means for the future, I think we can just about guarantee that Reigns vs. Undertaker will be one of the marquee matches at this year’s WrestleMania. ‘Taker’s stare down with Reigns after being sent on his way suggests that there’s unfinished business here, but again it begs the question of how in the world the company can expect fans to side with Reigns if they’re pairing him with an opponent as beloved as the Undertaker at ‘Mania.
