Why It Was A Waste: 'What the hell are these guys doing here?!'.

That's something you're probs asking yourself right now. Think about it though: WWF telly made a massive deal out of the supposed returns of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in September '96. In the end, fans didn't get Hall and Nash. Nah, they got "Razor Ramon" and "Diesel" instead.

Glenn Jacobs, who'd go on to succeed as Kane, and Rick Bognar looked like Halloween costume wannabes when they strolled out pretending to be WCW's new hires. If the WWF intended to bring Razor and Diesel back at all, then they should've waited until they had the real deal.

Onlookers were horrified when JR welcomed the cosplaying duo "back to the WWF" on the 30 September episode of Raw, and rightly so. This was a slap across the face to anybody who dared to believe their favourites were Federation-bound again.

What a waste of everyone's time.
