10 Big Vince McMahon Arguments With Top WWE Stars

2. Hulk Hogan

Today, Hulk Hogan has been largely wiped from the history books by Vince McMahon and WWE. Racial comments made by the Hulkster are the root cause, but there are hopes that he will be welcomed back into the 'WWE family' given time for such wounds to heal. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened, because Hogan and Vince McMahon have had a topsy turvy relationship over the years. Generally speaking, whenever the pair are making money together things are fine. However, McMahon was seemingly horrified when Hulk informed him that he'd like to step away from the WWF and work more in acting in the early-1990's. From there, Hogan ended up joining WCW, which must have had McMahon foaming at the mouth. Make no mistake about it, Vince takes ownership over the creation of Hulk Hogan's brand, and thus his success. To make matters worse, there was heat between the pair when Hulk returned in 2002. Vince had poked fun at Hulk with his 'Huckster' skits in the mid-90's, but the pair were able to come to terms. After a few years of working together amicably, those old problems reared their ugly head. Hogan was unwilling to put Shawn Michaels over at SummerSlam 2005, which infuriated McMahon.
