10 Big WWE Predictions For The Road To WrestleMania 33

4. Goldberg: WWE Universal Champion

Goldberg has been on fire since returning last year. His feud with Brock Lesnar has become the most important in the company, and after getting the better of his rival at Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble, Goldberg will wrestle Lesnar one final time at WrestleMania 33.

Things took another interesting twist on last night's Raw, however. Goldberg is now set to face Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship at Fastlane on March 5th - an event Lesnar that isn't booked to appear on. In all likelihood, we're going to have a new champion in four weeks, and Lesnar vs. Goldberg will be for Raw's top championship.

Putting the Universal Title on a 50-year-old part-timer poses all kinds of problems, but it’s an easy way to transition the belt onto Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Expect Goldberg to take it in March, then drop it one month later.

The Owens match itself will likely be a car crash, as Goldberg has only mustered little over four minutes’ of in-ring time since, but WWE should be able to make-up for this with some Jericho-related smoke and mirrors. As unthinkable as the prospect of Goldberg as a top champion seemed six months ago, it’s about to become a reality.
