10 Big WWE Predictions For The Road To WrestleMania 34

4. A Revolution Reborn

Ronda Rousey's signing is great news for all involved.

For the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, it's a road back to respectability after her MMA career's dismal end, and for WWE, they've acquired a readymade mainstream star in an era devoid of them. On top of this, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has reported that WWE plan to push their women's divisions to the moon with Rousey on board. They recognise they have a huge asset on their hands, and are determined to make the most of it, which is fantastic news for all female competitors.

The Women's Revolution has brought great progress, but stalled badly in 2017. Now, WWE have the impetus to kickstart it. This should hopefully result in increased screen time for the women's roster across the board, with the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka placed on a pedestal comparable to their male counterparts. Granted, true equality is probably still some distance away, but regardless of whether Ronda is the focal point or not, we still expect the division to surge over the coming months.

In an ideal world, this would result in multiple WrestleMania 34 singles matches, not the usual mash of faceless multi-person bouts. We can but dream.
