10 Big WWE Predictions For The Road To WrestleMania 35
1. Shoehorning Charlotte
Although WWE have announced Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey for WrestleMania 35, a show-closing Triple Threat between the company's top three women's wrestlers still looks likelier than any combination of singles matches.
Shoehorning Charlotte Flair into it makes sense. From a kayfabe standpoint, her "stealing" Becky Lynch's SummerSlam opportunity is what started 'The Man's' rise in the first place, so having Becky pin 'The Queen' after doing it again on the biggest show of the year would be the perfect way for that to come full circle. Outside of kayfabe, Flair deserves to be part of the HISTORIC MOMENT WWE will create if they put the women on last (and we think they will), and most performers tend to have their best match with her anyway, strengthing the Triple Threat argument.
Lynch vs. Rousey, one-on-one, would be an awesome throwdown, and probably a main roster Match Of The Year contender. The three-way has the potential to be even better.
It'll happen. Becky will wrestle Charlotte at Elimination Chamber, and an inconclusive finish (perhaps via Rousey interference) will maintain their heat heading towards 'Mania. The Triple Threat will come together soon after.
