4. The Queen Comes For The Throne

Another Royal Rumble rumour that didn't come to pass was former NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler swooping into the match, winning it, and challenging Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36. 'The Queen of Spades' was in the bout and eliminated eight competitors in an impressive four-minute run, though Charlotte Flair ended up throwing her out for a surprising victory.

It'll only be a matter of time before we see a repeat of the above scene, albeit without Baszler's belt. Short of a surprise Ronda Rousey comeback, it's the most sellable match WWE could possibly put together for Lynch, who remains one of their top babyface stars. Shayna's involvement at Survivor Series 2019 and victory in the night's main event gives WWE some (short) history to cover as well, and who'd bet against the duo delivering in the ring?

This week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter brought a report stating that Shayna is expected to start full-time with Raw imminently. Perhaps WWE will wait until after the Super ShowDown build is over and done with, though they could feasibly introduce Baszler as early as next week's show. Victory in a number one contender's Elimination Chamber match is another viable possibility.
