10 Big WWE Problems WrestleMania Season Will Expose

7. Trouble At The Top

One thing that this WrestleMania season is already highlighting is the problem with conflicts of interest at the top of the company. Triple H as both a wrestler and an executive is a bad combination. He's been able to book himself in the main event of the biggest WrestleMania of all-time, as the WWE Champion... despite having just one match in the last year. Being the son-in-law of the chairman clearly has its perks. Vince loves Hunter almost as much as he does Stephanie. The booking isn't based on drawing power or merit, it is instead based on a family motivation and desire. Three people wanted to see Triple H in the main event, so it happened. Never mind the fact that Brock Lesnar was the main event for the top five drawing shows of 2015 - instead it is Hunter as the man for Roman Reigns to face on April 3. The conflict of interest is bad for the company. Investors may not realise it, but by putting Triple H first, the McMahon family have weakened their business. It is something that Vince has been getting away with for nearly two decades now, putting his own family ahead of his product.
