10 Big WWE Returns That Could Happen In 2016

9. Rob Van Dam

The Whole F'N Show, Rob Van Dam, is still in ring shape and isn't tied down to anything specific right now. A return to the WWE is definitely a possibility for 2016, especially as he and the company are on such good terms. His part-time stints in 2013 and 2014 were fun, he added depth to the shows, and he'd be useful in that role again over the spring months. He'd be a little boost for the product between 'Mania and SummerSlam. Key to getting him back in would be the promise of solid matches and storylines and, obviously, a decent pay packet. What could make the difference is the fact that WWE are signing AJ Styles and so many other talented grapplers. That surely appeals to Van Dam, the opportunity to have some excellent wrestling matches on the big stage. He turns forty six at the end of the year, and his opportunities are only going to dwindle beyond that point. He and WWE should work something out before it is too late.
