10 Big WWE Returns That Could Happen In 2016

3. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is a certified legend, the kind of wrestler who is undoubtedly going to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame one day. But before all of that, he may well end up back with the company for a final hurrah. Yes, he left on bad terms at the start of 2015, but that's all water under bridge. Both sides have since extended the old olive branch to one another. "If the opportunity comes about in the future, and there is interest from both parties, then why not?€, Mysterio was quoted as saying last summer. Passing the WWE medical may be his biggest issue, but he believes that his health is as good as it has been in a long while. Maybe the time off did him good (and there's also the fact that he's been receiving stem cell treatment for his knees, which seems to have helped him immeasurably if his Mexico and indie matches are anything to go by). Given all the positive things he has been saying about WWE recently, it certainly sounds like he is ready to go back. The job security and the money has to be a major factor.
