During a Twitter Q&A in late November, IMPACT star Tessa Blanchard was asked which opponent from any currently performing she'd most like to meet in the ring.

"I'd like to wrestle Mercedes KV," she snarkily responded, in reference to Sasha Banks. The second-generation star's point in dropping Banks' indie moniker was that she wanted a piece of The Boss, but had absolutely no desire for it to take place in WWE - a company which passed on her potential following the 2017 Mae Young Classic.

The fate of IMPACT is as ever up in the air, and it's not inconceivable that their top earner could become a free agent before 2020 is out. Realistically, she won't end locking horns with Banks - or 'Mercedes' - anywhere else across that period; WWE have made every assurance to prevent The Boss waltzing into AEW in the near-future. If this purported dream match is to happen then, it'll be under the auspices of Vince's lot. Tessa, like many before her, may have to swallow a bitter pill to live her particular 'dream'.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
