10 Biggest Ever Heel Vs. Heel WWE Matches

8. Kurt Angle Vs. JBL - Smackdown 2005 (Last Man Standing)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtfgmVCglb4 This was on the last Smackdown before the 2005 Royal Rumble with an airdate of January 27, 2005. JBL was the WWE Champion and he was set to defend the title at the Rumble against Angle as well as Big Show, who was a babyface. Both JBL and Angle were top heels on the Smackdown brand. They had a really good match that went about twenty minutes. They ended it in a draw with Angle using a chair shot and JBL using a boot into the chair to knock down Angle, so neither man could answer the ten count in this Last Man Standing match. When it was over, they showed Show backstage laughing about it as if this would give him an advantage in the match at the Rumble. The story was that he convinced Teddy Long to book the match so that those two guys would be weak. JBL ended up retaining at the Rumble. It's one of those many forgotten good television matches just because it's not as common as some of the others we might remember.
