7. The Lights Go Out During The Divas' Playboy Bunny Match (WrestleMania 24)
WWE's Divas division is rarely treated well during Wrestlemania season. More often than not a handful of the more prominent diva's are thrown together in some sort of gimmick match that will fill up a few minutes in between two more high-profile contests, and nowhere was this more apparent than at WrestleMania 24 in the 'Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjill Match'. Yes, you read that correctly. Pitting Beth Phoenix and Melina against Ashley Massaro and Maria Kanellis (both of whom had appeared as Playboy cover girls), the match was hosted by 'Master Of Ceremonies' Snoop Dogg. Oh, and Santino Marella (who was a heel at the time) accompanied Phoenix and Melina. As if this bizarre collection of personalities wasn't enough, the ring was also surrounded by pretty much every other diva that was contracted to WWE at the time. Rest assured, the crowd weren't overly impressed with this match and this was compounded when the lights in the arena malfunctioned, plunging the divas into darkness for over two minutes (which was actually half the length of the match). The whole thing was an embarrassment for WWE and it didn't do much to convince fans that they should care about the Divas division.
