10 Biggest Fan Complaints WWE Don’t Actually Want To Fix

8. "Are They A Heel Or A Face?!"

And on Bobby Roode, for that matter, was he turned heel by virtue of Braun Strowman? He was behaving like an entitled d*ckhead to earn the scorn of the 'Monster Among Men', but then he'd just lost to one of Raw's top heel Kevin Owens working the entire clash as a babyface beforehand.

It wasn't the only confusing character shift on the night. Nia Jax was at it again, working herself into a shoot about how f*cking hilarious she was just a week after Stephanie McMahon riled her up enough to turn a respectable challenge against Ronda Rousey into one of resentment and ridicule. Jax was a bullied babyface either side of her matches with Alexa Bliss but may as well have ripped the words from Little Miss Bliss' old scripts as she mocked and goaded the former UFC star.

These inconsistencies and illogical sideswipes aren't outliers either. Performers flip with such frequency now that it's virtually impossible to even fantasy book a product that at least once a year presents a card designed allegedly around satisfying every creative whim. Jax went from bullied to bully via a promo about bullies getting their a*ses kicked. Was she foreshadowing her own demise? And if so, does that just make her stupid? Sadly, characters in any story without direction usually are.
