10 Biggest Flops In WWE History

1. Giant Gonzalez

When it comes to giant disappointments in WWE, few can compare to Giant González. Quite literally the biggest flop in WWE history, the human skyscraper is a solid contender for the worst wrestler to ever lace a pair of boots.

Having already spent two years as El Gigante in WCW, the Argentinian made a gigantic statement in his WWF debut, arriving unannounced to eliminate The Undertaker from the 1993 Royal Rumble. Sadly for the mountainous man, it was all downhill from there.

González wrestled The Undertaker and Randy Savage almost exclusively during his tenure and is best (or worst) remembered for his two abysmal matches with 'The Phenom' at WrestleMania IX and SummerSlam '93.

As if his height wasn't noticeable enough, González also wore a bizarre airbrushed muscle/fur outfit. While Ultimate Warrior had also had airbrushed muscles on his singlet just months earlier, Mr Hellwig had the small advantage of actually being jacked underneath. Mr. González's musculature, on the other hand, was far less impressive.

Nevertheless, at (nearly) eight feet, González is still the tallest wrestler WWE has ever had (the top rope only came up to his hip). He was even given the diminutive Harvey Wippleman as a manager to accentuate his prodigious proportions.

Unfortunately, his wrestling ability was non-existent and González will forever be remembered as a giant flop.
