10 Biggest Flops In WWE History
8. Kenzo Suzuki
A former Japanese rugby union star, Kenzo Suzuki was a legit, bona fide athlete when he entered WWE in 2004. Unfortunately, this did nothing to help him when he debuted on the SmackDown brand. After barely a year, he was gone from the company.
Nevertheless, Suzuki's push was strong to begin with. 'The Bronze Warrior' defeated Scotty 2 Hotty in his SmackDown debut and went on to defeat Billy Gunn in his PPV debut at The Great American Bash. Sadly, it was soon clear WWE didn't really know what to do with him and he was placed in a misfit tag team with Rene Dupree by September.
Despite the odd combination, the team quickly won the WWE Tag Team Championships and even defeated RVD and Rey Mysterio at No Mercy '04. By the time they lost the titles in December, Suzuki was losing more matches than he was winning and the writing was was on the wall.
After losing to Booker T on Velocity in February 2005, Suzuki suffered a collapsed lung and was taken off TV. He and his valet (real-life wife, Hiroko) switched brands in the Draft Lottery but both were released a week later without ever appearing on Raw.
