8. Randy Orton's 20 Year In-Ring Legacy

As of this writing, Randy Orton is enjoying the finest in-ring run of his two decades with WWE.

'The Apex Predator's RK-Bro run alongside Riddle has done wonders for the 'Original Bro', and seemingly reminded Vince McMahon what electrifying tag team wrestling looks like when you're willing to not be such a skinflint and pay four guys instead of two. Extending outwards beyond the pair and to other units in the division, the influence of those awesome hot tags obvious and he's providing a genuine rub to partner-turned-friend Riddle.

With all that in mind, what exactly is so fraudulent about the current praise he's receiving? The answer should be fairly obvious for anybody that's actually watched the show for that duration.

Where has this Randy been all this time? It can't be as simple as taking 20 years to get good, can it? Because we're told ad nauseam that the OVW Class Of 2002 was the best ever and WWE were gifted a golden generation in the process. The main thing to note about Orton's run is that much of it doesn't hold up to scrutiny, and the less revisited, the better. Give it a minute and there'll be another hot tag en route anyway.
