10 Biggest Heat Magnets In Wrestling Right Now

6. Sammy Guevara

CM Punk
AEW

When fans were begging to hate Sammy Guevara all over again, the roster, seemingly, was right there with them.

Some of them hated him all along, if various reports are to be believed.

He first generated heat, at least that which was reported, when launching a non-gimmicked chair at Matt Hardy in August 2020 when he couldn't find the prop for their heat segment. This impulsive and reckless improvisation resulted in Matt receiving several stitches, and naturally, the locker room was pissed. The show was taped, too. Guevara could have taken a matter of seconds to assess the situation and relay the problem to gorilla.

In his defence, he was locked in the zone of performing and may have panicked. Recently - again, if reports are to be believed, anyway - his behaviour cannot be explained away by adrenaline.

He called Eddie Kingston a "fat piece of sh*t" in a promo that was scrapped from Rampage because Eddie Kingston swung for him in the aftermath. After that incident - which somehow seems quaint now - Fightful Select were told by more than one source that Guevara had become difficult to work with and few volunteered to do so after his poorly-received feud with the Men of the Year.
