10 Biggest Heat Magnets In Wrestling Right Now
7. Brian Cage
To quote Jimmy McNulty: the f*ck did Brian Cage do?
Ricky Starks bantered him off the face of the planet. Dax Harwood buried him out of nowhere, on the Revolution '21 go-home Dynamite in an online exclusive promo. Cage himself has claimed that several more people backstage don't like him. He certainly has a very high opinion of himself - then again, welcome to wrestling - but many, many people feel this to be misplaced.
Perhaps these unknown forces in the locker room resent the idea that Cage has attempted to take a misguided shortcut to a push by whining about his lack of one. In an industry obsessed with doing the work, Cage exhausting his mid-2010s routine to diminishing returns and feeling entitled to success would rub those on the up the wrong way.
Infamously, his wife buried his creative - at time when grievances were actually kept in-house mostly. That was a no-no.
Of course she's going to think he's worthy of one, even if the general consensus seems to be that Cage is great value for a night out an indie show without being particular interesting or magnetic on episodic television.
