Okay, so this one goes against my intial ruling of not including matches that were one and done in terms of moves. The difference with Mickie James' destruction of Michelle McCool at the Royal Rumble was just how right it was for Mickie to win the WWE Women's Championship in such commanding fashion.

In the weeks leading up to the match, Michelle McCool and Layla had been bullying Mickie James because of her weight, referring to her as 'Piggy James' in a number of increasingly distasteful segments. The whole thing came across terribly, with WWE rightfully getting panned from a number of sides for the storyline.

A match between the two was set for the Royal Rumble in 2010, and it was prefaced by an in-ring promo from McCool and Layla that continued the insulting bullying. Mickie had had enough however, and stormed the ring. After taking Layla out, all that was left was to hit McCool with a Mickie-DT.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
