2. The Undertaker Vs. The Great Khali - Judgment Day 2006

World Wrestling Entertainment really went all in on The Great Khali a decade ago. He arrived on the scene by decimating The Undertaker on an episode of SmackDown, and the first meeting between the two followed that same path.

Taker got a little bit of offence in during the match, but none of it fazed Khali in the slightest. Commentators always seemed to ram home the 'we've never seen anyone dominate Undertaker like this before', but the truth here was that we simply hadn't seen such a one-sided destruction against the Deadman for a long, long time.

Looking back, this whole thing is quite shocking to watch. This isn't Taker in 1993, facing off against Giant Gonzalez to a confused audience. This is 2006 Undertaker, being absolutely annihilated by a taller man. Khali even gets the one foot cover to end it.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
