Seemingly, WWE were bereft of any ideas for Charlie Haas so had him dress up as a plethora of WWE legends with the intentions of getting a cheap pop from the paying crowd. He portrayed superstars such as: John Cena, John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Jim Ross, The Great Khali, Montel Vontavious Porter; legends such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and even WWE Diva Beth Phoenix, for which he won a Slammy Award. Haas, a former Tag Team Champion no less, did his best with the relatively thankless task he was given, but it was clear to everyone why he was doing it. It was all a bit sad really. This must have been the inspiration behind Damien Sandow's run of a similar vein a few years later. Although, the former Intellectual Saviour of the Masses turned it round and got over.
