Roman Reigns' first ever Mania main event was against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the 31st Showcase of the Immortals.

Reigns had won the Royal Rumble, a decision people famously loved, and was set to dethrone The Beast who many assumed was on his way out of the company.

And then, at the eleventh hour, Lesnar re-signed with WWE and the outcome of the match was thrown into chaos!

However, this turned out to be a red herring, as the real threat lay in the hands of a certain blonde-streaked architect.

After losing to Randy Orton earlier in the night, Seth Rollins must have thought his night was over. And then, whilst the show was still going on, he was pulled to one side and told he'd be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase during the planned main event and was walking out of WrestleMania the world champion.

This very last minute call led to one of the greatest pay-per-view endings in WWE history; Rollins celebrating on the ramp as the fans rejoiced in this delightful surprise.

Although, Roman's family were less than keen on this sudden change of plan.

Whoops.
