10 Biggest Mismatches In Wrestling History

7. Bam Bam Bigelow vs Spike Dudley

Spike Dudley made a living off of being the "David" in "David vs Goliath" matches. If you go back through the ECW roster on a yearly basis a lot of their "big man" workers only seemed huge because everyone else was smaller than the average wrestler. Rhino is the best example of that as he looked huge compared to a lot of the people he was facing in ECW, only to arrive in the WWF and have people notice he was the same height or even shorter than people like Chris Benoit or Chris Jericho. Bam Bam Bigelow was a true "big man" anywhere he wrestled. Billed at 6'4" (albeit a bit generously) and nearly 400 pounds, he towered over his ECW opponents. When Spike got in his way fans began to wonder if it would be the last they'd ever see of him. Billed at 5'8" tall and 150 pounds (both of which seemed like stretches), Spike was tossed around by Bam Bam in ways that ECW fans had never seen before. Bigelow would land moves like Powerbombs that looked like they might have killed Spike and he made it look as easy as if he was picking up a child. The most memorable moment from their feud, however, saw Bam Bam hoist Spike in the air in the Gorilla Press position and then charge the ropes to literally throw Spike into the crowd. Instead of letting the littlest Dudley hit the ground, the ECW fans caught him and began to crowd surf him around the arena, making for one of the most incredible visuals in wrestling history.
