It's a simple story that most fans remember quite vividly... mere days after Backlund stunned the wrestling world by becoming the WWF Champion he lost the title to Diesel at a house show, losing the match in eight seconds. Diesel kicked him in the stomach and then landed the Jackknife Powerbomb, which was all the action needed to win. It was so sudden and so dominant, and it showcased the size and power mismatch better than they could have had their match gone on for 15 minutes.
