10 Biggest Missed Opportunities From The Undertaker's WWE Career

8. Unholy Alliance

The Unholy Alliance had the potential to be one of the most dominant tag teams in WWE history but unfortunately they never really got the chance to fulfill that potential.

Yes, 'Taker's post-Ministry alliance with Big Show felt more like it was orchestrated to give the two directionless superstars something to do, while the storyline behind why they actually teamed up never got the chance to be fully developed due to the Lord of Darkness taking an extended absence shortly after it began (due to a groin injury).

Again, there was certainly potential here because, one way or another, fans wanted to know what this 'knowledge' mumbo jumbo 'Taker spewed was all about - and whether or not it would be of any use to Show. But in the end, it amounted to nothing and, on more than one occasion, made the giant look stupid.

The sight of the two monsters together was one to behold and they did have a couple of fun matches (the SummerSlam match against Kane and X-Pac and the Buried Alive match against The Rock 'n' Sock on SmackDown were both very entertaining), but other than those, it feels like we all look at this as more of a 'what could have been' instead of appreciating what it actually was.
