Ronda Rousey's WWE future has been up in the air since Dave Meltzer reported that there was a "very good chance" the current Raw Women's Champion was done with the company in a January issue of his Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE issued a generic statement the next day, noting that 'Rowdy' is contracted to the promotion until 10 April 2021, and that her rumoured desire to start a family is a "private matter."

Meltzer has since reported that Ronda's current run will conclude following the Raw after 'Mania 35, but there's no indication on whether this will be a simple hiatus or the end of her wrestling career entirely. There's still a chance that WrestleMania could be Rousey's last match ever. A shame, as she has been a benefit to the promotion since arriving at Royal Rumble 2018, but at least she'd get to go out on the back of the first ever women's 'Mania main event.

A leave of absence looks likelier, with 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' eventually returning to the promotion for a run similar to her first. This question won't be answered until after 'Mania itself, though.
