10 Biggest Mysteries Still Surrounding WWE WrestleMania 38

1. Will The Rock Vs. Roman Reigns Be Set In Motion?

At one point in time, there were rumblings that we might get The Rock stepping up to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. While that clearly didn't come to pass, that's not to say that we won't get Rock vs. Reigns at some point down the line.

Just this week, there were reports that WWE has the Great One pencilled in to face the Head of the Table at WrestleMania 39. Clearly WWE is keen to have Dwayne Johnson on board for any 'Mania in any capacity, and these same reports state that Johnson himself is keen to battle Roman at next year's Showcase of the Immortals should his schedule allow it.

So, does WWE go all in on setting this proposed WrestleMania 39 match in motion this weekend? Would that include a surprise in-person appearance from The Rock himself? Does the People's Champion send in a video promo to address his real-life cousin? Does Roman outright call out Rocky once his match with Brock Lesnar is done?

Given how WWE traditionally tends to avoid sending WrestleMania off the air with a heel celebrating, and given how many presume Reigns will defeat Brock Lesnar in their Winner Takes All contest, having The Rock do anything post-match would be a way to send the crowd home happy.
